Code of Conduct

When you visit topgear.co.za, we want you to have a great online experience. Accordingly, all our visitors must comply with the Code of Conduct set out here. Your use of our website means that you accept and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. We may need to revise the Code of Conduct from time to time by amending this page. The Code - We ask that you:

  • Do abide with all applicable laws in your country and those of South Africa when using our website.
  • Don’t use any elements from our website, including our name, logo, trademark and design, without out written consent.
  • Don’t use any automated means (like spiders or crawlers or interface that we have not authorised) to access our website, extract/remove data or otherwise interfere with or change our content, functionality in any way.
  • Don’t attempt to access or tamper with non-public areas of the website, our computer systems, or any of our suppliers’ or partner’s systems.
  • Don’t attempt to circumvent, change, deactivate, reverse-engineer or damage any security measures that protect our website.
  • Don’t commit acts of forgery on our headers or any part of our site or manipulate identifiers to disguise the origin of content.
  • Don’t upload any content or any file type to our website.
  • Don’t create new links for our content.
  • Don’t spam us with ads or malicious communication.
  • Don’t reproduce, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit any part of the website for commercial reasons.

Breach of the Code of Conduct

It will be our sole decision as to whether there has been a breach of this Code of Conduct. We have the right (but not the obligation) to edit, refuse to post, or to remove any contribution in whole or in part that we deem to be in breach of the Code of Conduct. Where we believe there is a breach of the Code of Conduct, we may take whatever action we feel is appropriate in the circumstances.

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct constitutes a material breach of the Website Terms, which could result in us taking any of the following actions:

  • issuing a warning to you;
