Porsche Cayenne also gets the Platinum Edition treatment

Following the introduction of the Platinum Edition to the Panamera models, Porsche is also giving the Cayenne SUV stable the same treatment.‍

The new Porsche Platinum Edition is available in selected Cayenne models and comes with bespoke design elements in a satin Platinum paint finish as well as extra standard equipment.

The Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition models come fitted with model-specific details in the above-mentioned paint finish. This includes inlays in the slats of the air intakes at the front, the Porsche lettering integrated into the LED rear light strip and model designation at the rear. 

Reserved exclusively for the Platinum Edition are standard 21” RS Spyder Design wheels finished in a satin platinum hue. The exterior is further equipped with sport exhaust tailpipes and side window trims in black. 

The limited-edition Porsche Cayenne can only be had in matching solid colours in white and black, metallic paint finishes in Jet Black, Carrara White, Mahogany, Moonlight Blue and the special colour Crayon.

Inside, the Platinum Edition differs from the normal Cayennes thanks to chalk seat belts and door sill guards in brushed aluminium that include a "Platinum Edition" insignia.

Other interior bits get the textured aluminium treatment with Porsche crests on the front and rear headrests fitted as standard.

The Cayenne Platinum Edition also comes with extended equipment as standard such as LED headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System, a panoramic roof system, privacy glass, a Bose surround-sound system, ambient lighting, eight-way leather sports seats and an analogue clock on the dash.  

Buyers who wish to add even more pizzaz can do so via the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur that offers a wide range of refinement options for the interior and exterior. 

The Cayenne Platinum Editon adds to the Cayenne, Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne S as well as the corresponding Coupé variants.

The first units of the Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition are set to arrive in South Africa during the third quarter of 2022.
