Mahindra Scorpio Karoo Dusk available in limited numbers

Mahindra South Africa is expanding its Pik Up Karoo S11 range with the launch of the special edition Dusk S11 Automatic model. ‍

Based on the S11 Karoo, the new Mahindra Karoo Dusk S11 Automatic comes in matt black film, colour-coded styling bar, side-mounted steel steps and roller shutter door. The decals and acacia-tree Karoo logo are painted in a dark blue colour. 

For a more off-road stance, Mahindra has fitted the Karoo Dusk S11 with off-road bumpers, 16” black with silver detailing alloys shod with special mud-terrain tyres from General Tyres. The front bumper is equipped with special LED-spot lamps as well as recovery loops and jack mountings. The recovery points and decals are finished in red. 

Underneath, the Karoo Dusk features a special off-road suspension that is equipped with heavy-duty custom-designed leaf springs and new suspension bushes. 

Inside, the Karoo Dusk boasts the usual nice-to-haves with a touchscreen infotainment system that’s compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity while a reverse camera, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, climate control, a multi-function steering wheel and electric windows are standard fare. 

A lockable roller-shutter door covers the rubberised rear load bay.

The mHawk 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine soldiers on with 103 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque. 

The new Mahindra Karoo Dusk S11 Automatic is available in limited numbers at dealers across Mzansi for R549,999 and is backed by a four-year/120,000 km mechanical warranty and five-year/90,000 km service plan.
