Harlem Shake conquers the world

The Red Bull racing team follows the latest craze since Gangnam Style

This could possibly be one of the strangest video trends to sweep the web.

Initially started by five energetic teenagers in Queensland Australia, the various video’s all share the same song, Harlem Shake by electronic DJ Baauer and lasts for about 30 seconds. It begins with one person, wearing a helmet or mask, dancing while everyone else in the video is seemingly going about their normal day. A few seconds later everyone joins in and they go absolutely crazy.

People soon started uploading replicas of it onto YouTube and like wildfire it spread. Now isn’t that the most bizarre thing you’ve ever heard? Of course we couldn’t resist stoking the flames so we’ve added three video’s for you to see what the fuss is about.
