Axe Apollo is sending people to space!
I was recently at the launch of the BMW M5. Before that, tons of hot stuff really, machines like the VW Golf GTIs, Mini Cooper JCWs and the Mitsubishi Evo X. I’ve even flown around the world to drive the new Mercedes Benz CLS Shooting Brake in AMG trim, and it was good.
But I’ve never left the atmosphere, a promise made at another recent launch event only it wasn’t a car manufacturer. It was a deodorant mongrel, AXE to be specific, launching their new flavour dubbed Apollo and it stinks real good, mmmmm.
More importantly, as a marketing gimmick they’re sending a lucky AXE patron into yes, outer bleeding space! Now, that’s quite the prize I’m sure you’ll agree, and you’re a fool for missing out on the opportunity to experience the kind of acceleration and thrust that even we’re not privy to at TopGear. It’s not to say we haven’t tried ourselves.
