Lamborghini’s Giugiaro Parcour SUV
This is the Parcour concept from VW-owned stylists, ItalDesign Giugiaro. And, if you’ll excuse the appalling pun, it’s got Lamborghini running gear.
Yep, this funktacularly donkish sporting SUV concept’s got a 405kW 5.2-litre V10 and AWD drivetrain from a Lambo, blending all the good bits from an SUV, crossover, GT and sports car.
It’s 4530mm long, 2070mm wide, and 1335mm high (not a million miles from a Range Rover Evoque) but a whole lot lower. But it is adjustable, it’ll rise and fall hydraulically from 210mm to 330mm, and there’s four different modes – comfort, off-road, winter and track.
At a piffling 1550kg, it looks like it’s focused largely on the latter… It’ll hit 0-100kph in 3.6 seconds and top out at 320kph. The enormo 22-inch rims also hide pushrod-style suspension.
Very clever all things considered. Is this a sign of the design direction for Lamborghini’s future SUV project? We do very much hope so…Lamborghini Parcour, even sounds good. Better than LaFerrari.
