Hyundai Veloster price list
There’s a new car in town, soon making its appearance on a road or advertisement near you. The newest addition to the Korean fleet is none other than the Hyundai Veloster. Pricing will begin at R259 900.
Since it first rolled out onto Korean roads in 2011, the Veloster sold well among young professionals and families who did not require a spacious backseat.
The local Veloster line-up will initially come in a manual and automatic model powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine, pushing out 103kW and 167N.m. of torque.
What remains to be seen is how this unique looking hatch will fare against our fiercely contested hot hatch market.
Till now there’s been no confirmation from Hyundai as to when the 1.6 Turbo GDI model will be unleashed in Mzansi. If we were them we’d get it here soon as it comes with a feistier 137kW engine with 265N.m. of oomph…
