Images of the first-ever McLaren P1 being offloaded at O.R. Tambo International Airport have emerged on the internet on Friday afternoon.

Spotted on supercar group Zero 2 Turbo’s Facebook page, this Volcano Yellow P1 is scheduled to feature at the tenth birthday celebration of the Daytona Group – a luxury car dealership based in Sandton.

On Thursday Dytona Group owner Justin Divaris, wrote on Twitter that, “The most important guest of next week’s #Daytona10 Birthday Party arrives in South Africa tomorrow!”

Pushing out 673kW and a whopping 900Nm of torque, the McLaren P1 races from 0 – 100 in 2.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 350kph.
